As current entrepreneurs, former athletes & forever dreamers, the Whayle team is focused on building the wealth mindset and creating opportunity for its community. Over the years of professional and life experience they've gained, they have realized that the path to becoming a Whayle and thriving isn’t as intimidating as it seems.
It starts with defining what a "whayle" truly is. Lots of money? Lots of time? Lots of health? Is it a destination? Is it a state of being? This is discussed in their first podcast episode and will further be explored over the lifetime of the project.

Leon Oloya
Having spent over 17 years working in the oil & gas industry, Leon has led teams over engineering, operations, and commercial facets. Having had his professional engineer license in the state of Texas since 2008, he spent his oil and gas career with ExxonMobil, starting in project management and technical advisory roles and growing to a top-level executive. When he ended his career with Exxon he managed the downstream business across the US Rockies and West Coast – a $2B+ revenue, $200M+ net profit enterprise. He specializes in detail design, construction execution, and continuous improvement over the ongoing operation, maximizing asset profitability and reliability. More recently, Leon has expanded into real estate and business ownership. He currently invests in real estate properties in Ohio, Colorado, Texas, and California as a partner and President of Olocks Investment Group, LLC while also providing business development and management strategies across several sectors. With all his accomplishments, Leon would venture to say his biggest accomplishment is his marriage to his college sweetheart and being father to his 2 beautiful daughters. In this new phase of life, he wants to use his skills and knowledge to help others build wealth and business growth.
Joy Howard
Joy has a diverse professional background with over 15 years in client relations, administration and business management and support. Through the years she has provided executive support for Senior Management at NBC, University of Houston, and University of San Diego. With the goal of balancing personal and professional, she was able to leave the 9-5 world and begin the life of an entrepreneur. She is currently a licensed CA Realtor, licensed CA Notary, land investor, and Director of Jhays, LLC (management services). In an effort to increase her family’s business opportunities, she also started family owned businesses, Jhoward Construction and Landscaping and The Boys Funnel Cakes. Joy’s been happily married for 15 years and is the mother to two young men, 16 and 11. She loves a good challenge and thrives off new experiences but feels her strongest quality is the belief that she will not be outworked..
Shalimar Jackson
Shalimar Jackson is the current Pretrial Services Supervisor with San Diego County Sheriff's Department Reentry Services Division. He works collaboratively with community partners to develop, implement, and enhance programming offered within the Sheriff's Department. He has over 10 years in social services and 6 years in supervision and management. Shalimar previously operated a non-profit which focused on educating young fathers from underserved communities. He specializes in community development, youth services, and diversity projects. As a father of four, Shalimar also finds it important to guide through example and spends time volunteering within his community in various ways including coaching and mentoring. He is passionate about teaching inner-city residents how to further enhance their community and guiding youth to achieving their dreams.
